PROTECTION IN TIMES OF TERROR
2 Timothy 1:7
CBC 4/21/13 SM

INTRO: Terror is a word much in news these days –
Our lives here in the States have been significantly affected by the events of Pearl Harbor, 9-11 & Boston Marathon Explosions.
Terror is not new.
Terror entered the world as a byproduct of SIN when Eve and Adam disobeyed and ate of the forbidden fruit.
One of the first recorded human act of terror resulting from the fall was the murder of Abel by his brother Cain.
As long as sin reigns on this planet there will be acts of terror.

After 9-11 ("America is forever changed," said Sen. Chuck Hagel, "America is in for a long fight.")

Prov. 14:15 “A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps.”

Eph. 5:15-17 “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”

Another word for terror is fear.
